Most recently we heard that Christina Hodson completely redesigned the screenplay. Furthermore, they are looking for a female director for the film. And now it is rumored that actress Millie Bobby Brown is being targeted for the role.

We know that Millie Bobby Brown is in talks with both Marvel Studios and DC Comics for a role in a live-action superhero movie.
Perhaps she could really be in talks for a movie like Batgirl. It certainly sounds interesting. For now, however, it remains to be seen what will happen with the film.
