As we all are tired up listening to such cases, there is one another case also. Moreover, two child rape cases are filed every day, according to Delhi Police Data. In northwest Delhi’s Adarshnagar a minor raped his 8 years old sister on Wednesday. The girl is currently in serious condition. When all this happened, their parents were not at home. The little girl reportedly said that her brother forced himself on her when her parents were not at home.
When the parents returned to the home the girl was in bad condition and was bleeding from her private parts. She was then rushed to hospital by her parents. They are daily wage labourers and very poor. Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal visited the victim today.”She sustained severe injuries and had to undergo a major operation. Currently, she is in a serious condition,” the DCW said in a statement.
“Crimes against women and girls are on a rise in the country and concerted steps have to be taken by governments against them,” Ms Maliwal said.
In a nutshell, crimes against women are increasing day by day in India. India is considered as the most dangerous country for women by research conducted by Thomson Reuters Foundation. These type of cases are proving the same. That’s why we should be aware now and it is not time to be silent.
