Actor Mithun Chakraborty felt something wrong in his stomach and he reportedly collapsed on the sets of Kashmir Files in Mussoorie. After which the shoot came to a halt as he complained of ill-health.
Actor Mithun Chakraborthy is in Mussoorie since November as he has been shooting for The Kashmir Files which is based on the genocide and mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. It is also directorial of Vivek Agnihotri. By god’s grace, everyone was going well, but suddenly a piece of news about Mithun stirred the internet. As per the report, the actor complaint about the stomach issues that occurred due to food poisoning after which he was not even able to stand. And unfortunately, that abruptly gave a halt to the shoot.
The incident took place on Saturday while shooting an outdoor scene when he complained of ill-health. As his health deteriorated director Agnihotri also asked everyone to pack up. Talking to Mid-day he said “It was an action scene, mounted on a big scale, and everything was centered on Mithun sir’s character. He had a terrible bout of food poisoning and was unable to even stand. After taking a brief break, he finished the sequence.”
Let us tell you that Mithun who is currently 70 years old said that this is for the first time in a four-decade-plus career, that this incident happened, and he didn’t think the shoot should be halted. And later when he felt a litter better the veteran actor proceeded to complete the part of the shoot.

Talking about the film The Kashmir Files, it is actually based on Kashmiri Pandit Refugees in the 1990s. The film showcases the horrifying event that took place at that time. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri this film along with Mithun will also feature Anupam Kher and Puneet Issar among others. In fact last year he also unveiled the first look of the poster, and the movie was slated to release this year but due to the pandemic everything came to halt, and now the leftover part will be wrapped up soon.
