Mithun Chakraborty’s father Basantkumar Chakraborty has left his family forever on Tuesday. Mithun is stuck up in Bengaluru right now and trying to reach Mumbai for the last ritual.
According to the latest report, actor Mithun Chakraborty’s father has passed away in Mumbai. It is being told that he was 95 years old and had been struggling with age-related diseases for some time. On the other hand, Mithun is in Bengaluru, as he was there for the shoot. While he was in the city only then the central government had announced a lockdown to deal with the coronavirus epidemic and Mithun had to stay in Bengaluru.
After 21 days of lockdown, the central government has once again extended the lockdown till 3 May. However, Mithun is trying to reach Mumbai for his father’s funeral. After knowing this Famous Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta has confirmed this on Twitter and in her tweet, she has also prayed to God to give courage to the actor and his family while paying tribute to Mithun’s father.
Let us tell you that Mithun’s son Mimoh Chakraborty is currently present in Mumbai. However, so far no official confirmation has come from his family.
