After overcoming Lancashire by 29 runs, Brett D’Oliveira delivered a standout all-around performance to earn Worcestershire their second victory of the season. All of Worcestershire’s batters received starts, and even though none of them went on to make notable runs, it was still enough for them to total 178 runs. In response, Lancashire’s openers Phillip Salt and Jos Buttler gave them a strong start with an 85-run stand. The side was eventually dismissed for 149 in 19.3 overs due to a catastrophic collapse, with D’Oliveira taking four wickets.

Brief results: Lancashire 149 in 19.3 overs (Phillip Salt 44, Jos Buttler 42; D’Oliveira 4-20) lost to Worcestershire 178/6 in 20 overs (Brett D’Oliveira 33, Moeen Ali 31, Kashif Ali 27; Luke Wells 2-26) by 29 runs.

    Playing XI:

Worcestershire (Playing XI): Brett DOliveira, Jake Libby, Colin Munro, Moeen Ali(c), Kashif Ali, Ed Barnard, Gareth Roderick(w), Dwayne Bravo, Dillon Pennington, Patrick Brown, Mitchell Stanley

Lancashire (Playing XI): Philip Salt, Jos Buttler(w), Steven Croft, Dane Vilas(c), Tim David, Luke Wells, Danny Lamb, Luke Wood, Tom Hartley, Richard Gleeson, Matthew Parkinson
