Change is a short film directed by Rajendra Vinod, 25 now, that has sealed a slot in the Guinness Book of World Records last year. This short film was dubbed in 10 different languages, (English, French, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi Gujarati, Marathi, Assamese, and Bengali-11).
Rajendra Vinod said in an interview, “The filmmaking commenced in early February last year and we’d released the English version within a month’s time. Later, my team, including friends mostly, ten of them, all non-professionals at Aarvi Films, a banner that I floated dedicated nearly seven months for the dubbing.”
This short film is based on a psychological subject, and is of seven minutes. This film talks about the daily routine of every single person who goes through a change daily. Also stressing about a range of issues from missing the daily alarm in the morning to work pressures and the moments of solitude he/she spends in a park.
Vinod in an interview explained the reason behind dubbing this short film into ten languages, he said, “Short filmmakers enjoy unparalleled freedom with the subjects, treatment that feature film directors don’t. I’ve had friends from various cultural and language backgrounds from my educational stint helping me pull this off.”
