India is the home of superstitions, some being good and some being bad, some of them can be even that annoying that you would like to scratch your hair whenever you hear them. 1. Black Cat Crossed your way!

2. Don’t Shake Your Legs!
Have you ever got scolded by your mother for shaking your legs? Maybe because she believes it brings bad luck in the family but next time whenever you are doing that and your mother interferes then you can carefree refuse her and tell her that science says our body involuntarily shakes our legs to reduce the temperature.
3. Broken Glass Invites Fights in a Family
It is also very much heard that a broken glass invites quarrels and fights in a family but actually, this is also an illogical superstition.
4. The ‘Nazar Utarna‘
It is also quite common in India to see parents and wives standing in front of their children or husbands with a tray in their hands loaded wit lemons, chillies, and flowers. This ritual is actually known as ‘Nazar Utarna’ and is performed in Indian society to protect loved ones from badluck.
5. ‘Teen Tigada Kaam Bigada’
You also might have seen parents interrupting their children from wearing or carrying anything in the quantity of three because just like number thirteen, three is also considered as unlucky in India.
6. Number 13!!!
Number 13 is just another synonym of fear in India for many people, especially if that 13 falls on Friday. Everything related to number 13 in India is considered so unlucky that people would even like to miss their jobs and colleges but stay away from number 13 in any condition. The earlier mentioned Friday which falls on 13th date of a month is also known in a scary and psychological way as ‘Friday the 13th!’ and is like the scariest day to be afraid of in some people’s life.
