A list of fairly tolerable films that will make you think about Reality and your position in it. The list is based on personal ideas about Awakening and “Enlightenment”.
Particularly complex and boring films are excluded from the list so that they do not “shake” the mind badly. The mind needs to be shaken to make it doubt the reality of what is happening. Further, there is a chance that you will Wake up.
So I warn you: there will be action films, thrillers, and science fiction.
The first, perhaps favorite film about the topic “understand that maybe I’m not me at all”
This film directly and very realistically shows the moment of Awakening of man.
Revolver by Guy Ritchie

The greatest enemy hides where you least look for him.
A reference to the film’s narrative. The greatest enemy is yourself.
We are drug addicts, sitting on the needle of someone else’s approval
A reference to the Ego and everything connected with Personality.
But when you face what I faced, the new mercilessreality makes us realize a simple fact that we all try to ignore: it is impossible to win. The only guarantee you get by getting into this game is the guarantee of losing. The only question is when this will happen.
In general, almost the entire film is filled with keys to Awakening. Permanent keys in the film from the Bible and from other religious and spiritual teachings are super. This phrase also directly says: in the attempts of “Enlightenment” there is only one result – to lose.
He is in the head of everyone and they believe him. This is his second self. If you try to destroy him to save the people, they will destroy you to save him.
Actually, this enemy is dedicated to the film (my opinion). This is Um. It is very likely that the reference was to the very image of Jesus (he tried to save people, but people hung him on the cross, protecting their minds)
He made you believe that he is you
The main catchphrase of the entire film. Ego, Mind, and Personality are part of you. But You are not the Mind (not the voice in your head).
This movie is worth watching between the lines.

This movie was pretty good for me. The movie ended very well. That straight tears gushed from my eyes (no, it’s not sad there, it just hit me spectacularly). There are no quotes here, the usual fantasy, but the end is very similar to how you feel when you suddenly Realized “Who I am”.
Although the film is for 1 time, if you are a fan of “search for yourself” or “search for truth”, then watch it. And understand that “search for yourself” always ends the same way. Understanding …. And understanding what – you need to see at the end of the film. Just watching and getting used to the role of the protagonist.
Free Guy, 2021

The film is also at one time, quite an action, funny, with humor. But the point is to loosen your mind. Shake your brain. Reality is not the way 99.9% of people see it.
What resonates: after the moments of “Awakening” the whole world loses its meaning. All people look (like myself) as characters of a fictional world. The targets are gone. Desires dry up like water in rivers and streams. The main character talked to many people who are in the same position as him. You see that people are like bots. It’s not bad, because the main character is exactly the same. It’s just that after “5 minutes of HAPPINESS SILENCE” it is clear that there is only one way out: to go further in attempts to cognize Yourself/Reality.
