Therefore the people have been instructed to stay in homes for 21 days, so that the spread of the virus can be controlled through social distancing. At the same time, Bollywood celebs are also trying to make people aware about the situation. And even helping financially. At such times, the responsibility of those celebs who are also associated with politics increases.
Sunny Deol is also a celeb who has also become a politician. He is an MP from Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency in Punjab. Sunny has provided financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to help the people of his parliamentary constituency with coronavirus. Deol has allocated this amount from his MP quota. Sunny gave information about this by tweeting. He wrote- In order to protect the epidemic like Corona I am releasing a fund of 50 lakh rupees from my MP land. So that my Lok Sabha Gurdaspur doesn’t face any kind of problem. Till now There have been 29 cases of coronavirus in Punjab.
Earlier, Sunny Deol had requested the people of all his constituencies to stay at home. And cooperate with the administration in fighting with coronavirus. The state government imposed a curfew to stop the spread of Corona. The war against the Coronavirus continues throughout the country. During the 21-day lockdown, people have been told not to leave their homes unless necessary.
