Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi was charged a penalty by Mumbai police after he shared a video, riding on a bike with his wife. Know the reason why.
On Friday Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi shared a video of himself riding a motorcycle, but he hit the headlines not for the video but for the penalty he paid. The actor in the video was seen riding the bike and behind him was his wife, however, when the police officilas noticed it that at the time of Pandemic, when every one is suppose to wear a mask, the actor was driving without the mask and helmet.
Soon after he shared the video on Sunday, metropolis’ police noticed it and took an action against him. Not just this an FIR was also registered against him. The video shared is from Valentine’s day when Vivek was out for a drive with his wife. Let us tell you that recently the Maharastra government saw a rise in coronavirus cases again, and hence the city government announced that the penalty will be charged on those who are seen without the mask.
Vivek has now been imposed IPC sections 188 and269 which are (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant)(Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life). Besides this, he has also been charged Rs 500.
