Many films are released in Bollywood every year, some of which are quickly forgotten by the public and some remain alive in the minds of the audience for decades. One such film was actor Nana Patekar’s ‘Krantiveer‘. The film was the third highest grossing film at the box office that year.
Apart from Nana Patekar, actors like Atul Agnihotri, Mamta Kulkarni, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia also played their roles beautifully in this film. This film is named among the best films of Nana Patekar’s career so far. Not only this, Nana Patekar was given the National Film Award for Best Actor in the year 1995 for his superb acting in the film ‘Krantiveer’. From the movie ‘Krantiveer’, Nana got a lot of applause. The powerful dialogues of this film are still on the lips of the fans.
On the other hand, the climax scene of this film was so much liked by the audience that the theaters resounded with thunderous applause. However, the shooting of this scene was also very interesting. More than 800 junior artists were called in for the climax scene of the film, but Nana Patekar’s health suddenly deteriorated before the shooting.
The makers felt that they would have to suffer huge losses now. Mehul Kumar, the director of the film, went to Nana very sadly, before Mehul could say anything, Nana said to him- ‘I will not let you be in loss. I will shoot one take, write it down, tell me when the shoot is.’
Then what Nana had said happened, he did the climax scene in One Take. According to the news, in that scene, Nana had spoken many lines from his mind, he was in such a flow that the director did not stop him. After that, the result of that scene that came out became a history.
