Navjot Singh Sidhu, one of India’s most popular and celebrated personality who has stepped into shoes of all shapes and sizes as he started off as a cricketer in the Indian Cricket Team, went on to become a commentator and even set foot in politics as well as Television.
Above all, Sidhu is much acclaimed for his power and presence of mind to turn words into a phrase as his popular Sher-o-Shayari followed by his Takiya Kalam, Thoko Taali or Khatak!
Blessed with a great sense of Humour and awesome wit he has also been a part of shows such as The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Comedy Nights With Kapil. However, Sidhu’s unlikely absence from the latter show has been due to a deadly disease named Deep Vein Thrombosis with which he has been hospitalised.
Sidhu has been admitted to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital where the doctors are treating him with blood thinners and his condition is said to be stable. He is recovering soon.
The former cricketer refuses to let go of his optimism as he tweeted..’down but not out’.
