Mala Sinha

The legendary veteran actress was born into a family of Nepali origin. Her father’s name was Albert Sinha and was a Nepali Christian. Mala’s initial name was Alda and her friends at school in Calcutta (now Kolkata) used to tease her by calling her Dalda (a brand of vegetable oil), so she changed it after becoming an actress. Her first Hindi film was Badshah opposite Pradeep Kumar and then she went on to become a superstar actress.

Udit Narayan

His full name is Udit Narayan Jha, he is a superstar playback singer of Bollywood. He was one of the most prominent Ustads (teachers) of Bollywood singers throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. His son Aditya Narayan is also a singer and actor.
