Famous Australian Model Denied Entry to Louvre Museum Over Revealing Clothes

A 25 years old famous Australian model named Newsha Syeh was refused entry to Paris’s world-famous Louvre art museum and gallery for her revealing outfit choice. Newsha is an internet star, she is Instagram’s leading figures and has been featured in various advertising campaigns as a model. Newsha took to Instagram to share an image with her 247,000 Instagram followers. The picture reveals her posing in front of the museum wearing a low-cut black mesh dress outside the famous museum.

She captioned the picture with: “Yesterday at the Louvre, I was stopped at the entrance by a guard for my outfit.”
The Instagram star was banned for her choice of clothes that the authorities found revealing’. Newsha referred the incident as “heartbroken” and described how a security guard had denied her entry. She wrote:
“He made the most disgusted and horrible gestures and facial expressions, swore at me to cover up, with hate filled eyes stopped me entering. I am heartbroken because I thought the Louvre enforced this archaic rule. Turns out it does not.”

She also posted a screenshot which showed the dress code to visit the museum, alluding to the fact that the museum does not rule a specific dress code. While talking to a leading website she told that:

“I tend to be a little rebellious with the way I dress, but I was born in a country where women would be arrested just for showing their hair, so I celebrate the freedom other countries afford me now. He [the guard] eventually did let us into the museum after I put on my giant coat on that very hot day, but I didn’t feel in the mood to enjoy art anymore after that. We walked straight back out and enjoyed the rest of Paris.”
