Famous international musician Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, landed in serious legal trouble. Known for her hit songs and massive social media following, Nicki Minaj was reportedly detained by Amsterdam police at Schiphol Airport on Saturday for allegedly carrying soft drugs. Although the police confirmed they had arrested a 41-year-old American woman on suspicion of exporting soft drugs, they did not officially name Minaj.
For those unaware, the musician live-streamed the whole incident on Instagram Live. In the now viral, the officials are seen searching through her belongings and questioning her. In the footage, she is seen outside the airport discussing how her luggage was being re-checked.In the video, we can see how the cops ask her to come to the police station, but she repeatedly refuses, saying that she will not move or go anywhere until her lawyer arrives.

According to recent reports, she has been released after paying a ‘reasonable fine’. A spokesperson said “There’s no reason for us to keep her in custody any longer.
