Trying to establish its presence again, Nokia along with its Android debut is ready to launch a flagship device to take on the industry in a new way named as Nokia P1.
The device will be based on the Sharp Aquos Xx3 smartphone, HMD Global has license to manufacture and distribute Nokia Phones. Before its announcement, the smartphone price has been leaked further with its specifications.
Nokia P1 price for 128GB model is expected in the range of Rs. 54,000($800) and for the 256GB it could be around Rs. 64,700($950), these figures are according to Russian publications. It has some mind-blowing features like Android Nougat, 5.3inch display, Snapdragon 835 SoC combined with 6GB of RAM. It is been loaded with 3500mAh battery, Gorilla Glass 5 with full HD resolution and Zeiss certified 22.6-megapixel rear camera.
The most important feature it is been IP57 certified which protect it from dust and water and last but not the least fingerprint scanner. This smartphone might be proved as the landslide victory for HMD Global as the company is investing a lot in it.
With Android Nougat, the smartphone is able to display multiple apps on-screen at once in a split-screen view, OpenJDK-based Java environment, inline reply to notifications and support for the Vulkan graphics rendering API.
Undoubtedly, Nokia P1 has been successful in creating a certain buzz and with the leaked prices and specifications, people have time to think on it and at the same time, it will be interesting to know how the smartphone will perform at the market.
