Mumbai: Noor, a name which means glow and fame. Sonakshi Sinha, the ace actress of Bollywood, better compliments the word. So she is coming to the silver screen with her upcoming film Noor which is a story of a journalist and writer involving her journey of misadventures and love life.
Real life stories really attract the interest of people as they belong to the real world – real situations, real problems and real lessons. Noor is one of the kind! The storyline of the film is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz’s novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! The place in the film is replaced with Mumbai from Pakistan.Trailer of the film is already out, which is two and half minute long and introduces Sonakshi as a “joker journalist”. Now, why joker journalist? It would be interesting to explore, isn’t it?
No doubt, this is a story of every other or another woman who is struggling with weight issues, love life, job responsibilities but still manage to make it to the top. Noor is not satisfied with her job and then her life takes a dramatic turn which changes her way she thought about life before. Sonakshi Sinha expressed contentment towards her role in the film said it is not just a film but an experience for a lifetime. She said she is happy and excited about playing the character of Noor. She further said that every girl will connect with the story of Noor as it is full of challenges that every girl faces in her daily life.
The film is directed by Sunhil Sippy and produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The other stars of the film, other than Sonakshi Sinha, are Kanan Gill, Purab Kohli, Shibani Dandekar, Sunny Leone and Gareth Lawrence. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 21, 2017. The film is also releasing in Pakistan.
