In fact, officials of Manikchak College in Malda said that they had released the merit list on Friday. On this list, they saw the name of singer Neha Kakkar. After which the principal of the college, Anirudh Chakraborty, said, “We have lodged complaints with the local police station and the Cyber Crime Cell of the West Bengal Police.”
He further said that this is a mischief of some people who want to discredit the higher education system and transparent online admission process by including such names in the merit list. “However, a new list was released correcting this mistake.”
Earlier, the list for admission to the BA of Ashutosh College, Kolkata was released on the website. This merit list was put on the college website. In which Sunny Leone’s name was at the top. Application ID and role number were also included in the list. Apart from this, Sunny Leone’s name was seen in the merit list of another college in West Bengal. The actress also enjoyed a lot of tweeting on this news.
