Delhi government led by CM Arvind Kejriwal is all set to get implemented again. It will be back on Delhi roads from November 4 to 15. The announcement is made by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The scheme will proceed third time in Delhi to keep a check on pollution.
On the first of the scheme, vehicles with the odd registration numbers would be allowed to run on the Delhi roads. On the contrary, the next day, the vehicles with even registration numbers would be allowed for the same and the chain will continue alternatively.
Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference, “In November, when stubble burning from the neighbouring states make Delhi a gas chamber. Although Punjab and the Delhi governments work together to tackle the issue, we cannot sit still this continues to happen.”
He further added, “The Delhi government is going to procure special N-95 masks on a large scale so that those who want the pollution masks can purchase them. They would be available from October. There will be a separate action plan for pollution control for 12 critical areas. Every ward in Delhi will have two environment marshals.”
Arvind Kejriwal also urged Delhi people to celebrate Diwali with lights and sweets instead of crackers as the smoke from the firecrackers pollutes the air. He also said the Delhi government is working on pollution control in the city by taking every possible step.
