On Saturday, October 28, Matthew Perry, the actor best known for playing the witty Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom “Friends,” was discovered dead in his Los Angeles residence.
Online conspiracy theories have been circulating, casting doubt on the government’s account of Perry’s passing.
Some have even brought up the fact that Perry just disclosed in his biography some dark facts about Hollywood and the entertainment business.
Perry discussed his battles with drugs, mental health, and violent relationships in his memoir “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir.” He also said that influential individuals who wished to control him and his career had intimidated, blackmailed, and harassed him.
Some admirers have speculated that Perry’s book may have enraged some of his competitors or adversaries, who then chose to murder him in retaliation. They have also drawn attention to a few dubious aspects of his passing, including the dearth of witnesses, the protracted reporting period, and the lack of an autopsy report.
According to TMZ claims, Perry may have had a “cardiac episode” in the jacuzzi, which resulted in his passing out, slipping, and drowning. Neither his agents nor the government have verified this, though. There was no indication of foul play or a drug overdose, which Perry had previously battled, according to several sources.
Perry’s official cause of death remains unknown, however it was most likely a terrible accident or a natural event. We will have to wait for the formal report.
