Remembering the late actor Om Puri his wife launched a YouTube channel on his 70th birth Anniversary.
Today is Om Puri’s 70th birth anniversary and on this occasion his wife Nandita Puri and son Ishan Puri planned to honor his memory in a special way. On his birth Anniversary they launched the YouTube channel titled ‘Puri Baatein’. Before starting the Chanel, earlier after the death of the actor in 2016. They also started an organization that is named as ‘The Om Puri Foundation’ which tries to help people at the root level. The organization is also playing an active part in helping COVID-19 affected families.

The channel ‘Puri Baatein’ will be a four-minute short film made by Ishan, that will showcase the work and life of Om Puri. Not just this but the fans from across the world will be given an opportunity to talk about their favorite actor. The Om Puri foundation will also celebrate him globally with various events in Punjab, London and Cannes, India. And will also organize the competitions. The foundation will also celebrate him in the Boston Asian American Film Festival, which runs from October 21 to 25 October.
Puri is a legendary actor who was born on October 18, 1950, in Ambala, Punjab. And expanded his horizons beyond Bollywood films. That’s why even today he is remembered as one of the finest actor. Although he is not among us but his acting talent is still remembered by many.
The late actor worked in almost 300 movies, and also won the National Film Award for best actor for his role as a police inspector in 1982 film Ardh Satya.
