During this, Salman narrated many tales remembering his Struggle days. Salman told that after the success of the film Maine Pyar Kiya, he did not have any film for 6 months.
While narrating an anecdote related to it, Salman thanked Ramesh Taurani for giving him the film Patthar Ke Phool. Salman said, ‘After the film Maine Pyar Kiya became a hit, actress Bhagyashree decided not to work in films. She had to get married and that’s why she left films. She got all the credit for the film. I didn’t have any films for the next 6 months. Then Ramesh Taurani came into my life as a god. At that time my father got a fake announcement made by JP Sippy by paying 2000 rupees in a film magazine. I didn’t have any movies. Ramesh Taurani went to Sippy’s office and at that time he gave him Rs 5 lakh for music and that’s how I got the film Patthar Ke Phool.
During this, Salman Khan thanked Boney Kapoor, giving credit for his success. Salman said that Boney Kapoor rebuilt his career by giving him the film Wanted. Salman said, ‘Boney Kapoor has helped me throughout my life. When my career took a hit, Boney Kapoor gave me a film called Wanted. After that, he gave another film No Entry, which marked the return of Anil Kapoor. Boney ji has helped me a lot, for which I will always be grateful.
