These are a few of the brand-new films, TV episodes, and web series that will be available on various streaming services this week.
King of Kotha: King of Kotha, produced by Wayfarer Films and Zed Studios, is helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, making his directorial debut, and features Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Dulquer Salmaan plays Kotha Rajendran ‘Raju’ or Raju Madrassi, King of Kotha, in the drug-related mafia drama. In Mani Ratnam’s period drama Ponniyin Selvan I and II, Aishwarya Lekshmi played the part of Tara, Raju’s romantic interest and lover. Gokul Suresh, Prasanna, and Shabeer Kallarakkal are also prominent.

The Other Zoey: Josephine Langford portrays the title role of The Other Zoey, a bright college student who is determined to defy romantic love and dating conventions. However, as she ends up becoming the person Zach (Drew Starkey) believes to be his girlfriend, things naturally spiral out of hand. She also happens to have the same name, Zoey.

Kaala Paani: A mysterious disease outbreak in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands causes a number of people to pass away quickly in the new Netflix series, which is set in 2025. Directors Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani, with stars Mona Singh, Ashutosh Gowariker, Amey Wagh, Sukant Goel, Arushi Sharma, Avinash Kuri, and Chinmay Mandlekar.

Elite Season 7: The fresh season is back to address all the cliffhangers it left in the previous season, the synopsis read, “Omar is living a new life at the university and far away from Las Encinas, but he is unable to move on. The guilt he feels for Samuel’s death and the suffering from that period are still very much present, leading him to undergo therapy. Thanks to an internship, he decides to return to the school where everything happened to confront his demons face to face. Through Omar’s journey we will discover that the rest of the students are also silently battling their own hells.”

Permanent Roommates season 3: The third season of TVF’s comedy-drama series Permanent Roommates stars Nidhi Singh and Sumit Vyas. Now that Tanya and Mikesh are living together, they are trying to furnish their new flat to make it seem more like a home. Still, there are arguments and miscommunications.

Haami 2: In the follow-up to the critically acclaimed film, which was co-directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, an eight-year-old maths prodigy receives a parental invitation to compete against other kids on a reality programme. Naturally, Laltu (Shiboprosad) and Mitali (Gargee Roy Chowdhury), as well as their children Chinu (Shreyan Saha) and Bhepu (Ritodeep Sengupta), steal the show.
