Russian raids, which began in September 2015, have killed at least 11,612 people in Syria, a UK-war monitor reported on Thursday.
There were at least 5,013 civilians, including 714 women and 1,201 children, according to data released by the Syrian Observatory Human Rights (SOHR), Efe news reported. The airstrikes also killed at least 3,284 Islamic State (IS) militants.
According to the SOHR, at least 3,315 fighters from rebel and Islamist factions have lost their lives in these bombings which pointed out that Russia has used cluster bombs.
