Pakistani Brand Showed Awful Photoshop Skills While Copying Indian Ad Featuring Kareena Kapoor

A Pakistani brand has copied an Indian commercial completely or in technical language, frame-to-frame. In the real or actual ad, Kareena was seen endorsing a hair colour brand BBlunt Salon Secret. Pakbrand Maskatiya Industries has plagiarised the whole ad and the only difference is the product that Kapoor held in her hands – that of Olivia.

Here’s the original ad:

Business head Sunil Kataria at Godrej Consumer Products said: “We wish to clarify that GCPL has no business relationship with Maskatiya Industries Private Limited (Olivia cosmetics). It has been brought to our notice recently that Maskatiya Industries have copied the ‘BBlunt Salon secret High Shine Crème hair colour’ TVC.”

“This seems to be a direct case of plagiarism and Godrej Consumer Products Limited condemn this act which infringes our copyrights over the said TVC. We shall be taking appropriate action against the same.”

However, on a lighter side, Pakistani brand don’t even know how to use photoshop and it’s really embarrassing.
