Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding is considered as the wedding of the year. It won’t be wrong to say that the couple overlapped all the buzz of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding. The couple wedded on December 2 and 3 according to Christian and Hindu traditional weddings. It was a grand wedding of the year.
During the Hindu wedding, there was a ritual of ‘Juta Churayi’. It is a tradition followed across weddings in North India wherein the sister-in-law steal the shoes of the groom and then ask money or gift in return. Divulging the details, before the marriage, Parineeti told an entertainment portal,
“I was sitting with Nick only two nights ago and I was telling him that we needed to lock in our final amount. I quoted 5 million USD (approximately Rs 37 crore). He said ‘OK, I’ll give you USD 10.”
She added,
“So you can see the price negotiation is going to be difficult. But main bahut bahut paise lene waali hoon because I have to be his favourite saali.”
