Indian shooters have secured spots in every Olympic shooting category for the first time.
Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, a top sports medicine expert and the chief medical officer for the Indian team, told the media that the athletes are in prime condition for the Paris Olympics. He mentioned that while some athletes might have minor issues, they are all fit and capable of performing their best. “All the athletes going for the Olympics are fit right now. Some athletes will have minor niggles here and there. I am not going to discuss any specific injuries that they’ve had in the past, but all of them who are there are capable and fit enough,” he said.
