SRK is back after ages on the big screen. The expectations was amplified after the controversies surrounding the song Besharam Rang. As a result of which the bookings were made in advance before the release.
Gathered from the domestic earnings in India by Mint, a digital news agency, as of 6.15pm collected ₹27.08 cr on the second day of release. The movie continues its craze in day two as well, ramping up the number of views. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been the major inclination for the audience to visit the theaters, stick to screens and celebrate the charm and comeback of the star after six years.
As per the minted figures, the latest numbers have been consolidated by adding up- PVR- 12.55 cr, INOX- 10.55 cr, Cinepolis- 5.63 cr, taking it up to a total of ₹ 28.73 cr.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta’s reports says that the film has progressed really well post the re-release bookings, on the very first day of the release. It minted Rs 57 crore in India on day one, out of which Rs 55 crore is earned from the Hindi version alone, the balancing Rs 2 crore from the dubbed versions of Tamil and Telugu languages.
