Paul Pogba, the French midfielder, will leave Manchester United and return to Juventus on a free transfer. By the first week of July, he should have completed his Juventus medicals. After spending six arduous years at Manchester United, the 29-year-old will be going back to Turin. By the end of June, his contract with United will expire. The 2018 World Cup champion will leave Manchester United on a free transfer when his contract expires, the club already announced in the first week of June.
Pogba will visit Juventus for the second time in his professional career. He was transferred to Manchester United from the Italian club, Juventus in 2016 for a fee of €89 million.
Pogba had only made a few appearances for the senior team but surprisingly made his youth career with United. However, he left United in 2012 after declining to sign a new contract, moving on a free transfer to Juventus. He played there until 2016, at which point he went back to Manchester.
“Paul Pogba to Juventus, confirmed and here we go! Full agreement now completed on a free transfer. Deal to be signed at the beginning of July, it’s done and sealed,” tweeted football’s most followed enthusiast Fabrizio Romano.
“Pogba will be in Italy in two weeks. Juve sold him for €100m six years ago – now he’s back for free,’ tweeted Romano.
