Pervez Musharraf got death sentenced earlier
Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has been sentenced to death. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a three-member bench of the special court headed by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth pronounced such a sentence. Pervez Musharraf was booked for treason in December 2013 for imposing emergency in the country on November 3, 2007 and suspending the constitution till mid-December 2007. Musharraf was convicted on March 31, 2014.
