Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking celebrated his 74th birthday on 8 January 2016.He has lived a remarkable life, full of discoveries and miracles.He is a Physicist, Astrophysicist, cosomlogist, author and a professor at the university of Cambridge.

At the age of 21 he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (ALS) and he was told he would survive for a few more years only.He beat the odds and he is alive today.The disease has paralysed him over the years and he now talks through a speech generating device.
