Pillar Of Taj Mahal Collapses Due To Heavy Rain

On Thursday morning, a metal pillar at the entry gate in Taj Mahal collapsed after heavy rain and strong winds lashed Agra. The wind speed during the thunderstorm crossed 100 km per hour which led the pillar to be broken into several pieces.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Sunni Waqf Board claimed that Shah Jahan had passed the waqf nama (ownership of Taj Mahal) to the board. Meanwhile, Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra has told the board to produce documents with the signatures of Shah Jahan which proved that he really passed it to the board and also warned them to not waste the time of court while presenting such baseless claims.
