The two most important things that happened yesterday were Virushka Reception and verdict in 2G spectrum scam. Our honourable PM Narendra Modi attended cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma’s reception in New Delhi within 6 hours of CBI court verdict acquitting all the accused in the so-called biggest scam of the country. PM Modi could hold an emergency meeting with CBI to appeal against the verdict in the higher court.
Now you all are thinking that why I am raising this issue. Let’s go back a little bit, Times Now’s Rahul Shivshankar has run a prime-time story regarding Congress president Rahul Gandhi watching Star Wars at a cinema hall, hours after his party lost the elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
“#AreYouSeriousRahul?’ we ask. After the votes had been counted, the political slugfest for the day was done and dusted, EVM rigging allegations had been made and dismissed, you dared to do something recreational on your own personal time – are you serious?”
Times Now tweeted before it went on air with its primetime debate:
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a postmortem on the Gujarat election results, Rahul Gandhi watched Star Wars at a cinema hall.”
Are you serious Times Now? If a leading NewsChannel runs a story like this, why can’t i write this article?
