Vivek Oberoi and starrer PM Narendra Modi biopic sparked controversy ever since it was announced. Earlier, the release date of the film was scheduled to April 11. However, it has been postponed by the Election Commission till the end of the Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
According to the latest reports, now the trailer of the film has been removed from YouTube. As per the experts, the reason behind taking the trailer of the movie down might be the order of Election Commission that has put a stay on the release of PM Modi biopic.
To let you know, as per the order of Election Commission,
“Any poster or publicity material concerning any such certified content, which either depicts a candidate (including prospective) for the furtherance (or purported to further) of electoral prospect, directly or indirectly, shall not be put to display in electronic media in the area where MCC (model code of conduct) is in operation.”
Vivek Oberoi starrer Narendra Modi’s biopic is in news since the day it was announced. It is constantly battling a lot of problems because of the release date. Initially, it was decided by the makers to release the film on April 12 but then suddenly it was brought ahead to April 5 but missed the new release date. After that, April 11 was decided by the makers to release the film, but on April 10, the Election Commission put a stay orders.
