Actress Pooja Banerjee and her husband Kunal Verma have become parents. Pooja gave birth to a son today (09 October). Kunal is very excited about becoming a father.
While talking to ETimes, Kunal said, ‘Pooja and I are proud and we are very happy. We are happy to say that today we have become the parents of a son. When Pooja gave birth to a son, I was with her in the operation theater. Both are healthy and we are very grateful for God’s blessings.‘
Some time ago Pooja left the TV show Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi. In this show, she played the role of mother Vaishno Devi. In this regard, the actress had said that ‘I used to work in pregnancy too, but due to this epidemic, I felt that precautions should be taken and its safe at home. I am thinking of starting work again next year and hope that by then this epidemic will be over.’
Pooja and Kunal were dating each other for the last several years, after which both of them got engaged in the year 2017. The two had been dating each other for nearly nine years.
Pooja and Kunal were to get pompously married on 15 April this year and they had made all preparations for it but due to the lockdown they had to postpone their marriage. But on April 15, they had informed the fans through social media that both are now officially married. Both had registered marriage. Pooja played the role of Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.
