Beware Users Watching Pornhub On Mobile Could Land You With $100 Bill

As Pornhub witnessed a malicious software which appears as an official Pornhub app. It is the latest scam on the Internet that targets Pornhub. All the porn addicts have warned a malware has detected which is affecting the users via mobile phones, demanding a payout in exchange for their release.

The hackers have infected the Pornhub site with a kind of virus that appears to be an official Pornhub app. This virus locks the users out of their mobile phones instead of showing the site’s vast menu of adult content. It then asks a fee of $100 to fix the problem.

This virus is designed by keeping this thing in mind that Pornhub’s official app is not available on Play Store. So users often takes other alternatives to download the videos from Pornhub website. Pornhub is famous because it is the leading source of free online porn.

Not only this, the fake copies of authorized antivirus programs are being uploaded to trap the users. It uses the domain of rogue AVs on Windows. So when a user clicks on the app, instead of showing pornographic videos it displayed a message that the device must first be ‘checked for viruses’. After clicking OK, the fake AV, which appears to be Avast, runs its fake scan.

In concern of this malware scam, the ESET has issued some guidelines for android users. These suggest users to avoid downloading unofficial apps and back up their data on a regular basis.
