There will soon be another Barbenheimer, as if one wasn’t enough. A movie that combines the stories from the two films into one. Dolls and explosives are the motifs in the picture that B-movie star Charles Band is producing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story of Barbenheimer, a doll scientist named Dr. Bambi J. Barbenheimer who lives in the doll town of Dolltopia and is disturbed by how people treat the dolls, has been described in depth by Charles Band. She then sets out on a mission to demolish the actual world using a massive nuclear weapon. According to Barbenheimer’s summary, “They got great looks and a super attitude! Oh, and now they’ve got the bomb.”
Charles Band cashing on the clash
Charles said that he is profiting off the Barbie-Oppenheimer argument, which sparked a lot of social media discussion and memes. “But it’s also an opportunity to have fun with the bizarre coupling of these two movies and the combination of Barbie’s vibe and the darkness of Oppenheimer. You mix that together and you have such an opportunity for dark humour,” Charles averred. “It seems like every other feature is dark and depressing, and it’s like, God, we need a little humour going into 2024,” he further added.
Details About Barbenheimer, the clash
Greta Gerwig’s parody, which starred Ryan Gosling as Ken and Margot Robbie as Barbie, went on to earn over $1 billion at the film office worldwide.Though it missed the coveted milestone, Christopher Nolan’s dramatization of J. So much so that renowned director Martin Scorsese referred to Barbenheimer as “the perfect storm” in a special interview with Hindustan Times.
