Fans of the DC movie Black Adam already had a suspicion yesterday when protagonist Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson hinted at an announcement. It is now clear what the former WWE star was talking about.
A poster has appeared on TWITTER featuring the logo with a new release date. It now turns out that the movie has been moved from December 2021 to July 2022 and thus changed from a Christmas movie to a summer blockbuster.
Update after update
The recordings are about to start and in recent weeks there have been regular set snapshots on social media of impressive set pieces that were being built.
Johnson himself posted the first pages of the script online and says he is very proud of the project, especially how different the story of this superhero is.
The casting of former James Bond performer Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate has also been able to unanimously enthuse all fans.
