Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has been embroiled in controversy for the past few days. Initially demanding the highest honorarium, her recently published book, The Pregnancy Bible, has once again been the subject of controversy. A complaint has been lodged with the police against Kareena for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community in the name of the book.
Ashish Shinde, president of Alpha Omega Christian Federation, has lodged a complaint with the Shivajinagar police station in Beed over the name of the book. According to the complaint, the author of ‘Pregnancy Bible’ is Kareena Kapoor and Aditi Shah Bhimjani and the book is published by Juggernaut Books.
According to Shinde, the holy word ‘Bible’ is used in the title of the book. Which has hurt the feelings of Christians. ‘ He has sought to file a case under Section 295-A of the IPC against Kareena and two others. Meanwhile, a police officer has admitted that a complaint has been lodged in this regard but also clarified that no FIR has been lodged.
Sainath Thombre, in charge inspector of Shivajinagar police station, told PTI, “We have received a complaint in this regard. However, no FIR has been registered. Because this incident is not from here. I have advised them to go to Mumbai and lodge a complaint.
Meanwhile, Kareena’s book ‘Pregnancy Bible’ was published on July 9. Kareena says that this is her third baby. She had made various posts while promoting the book on social media. According to Karina, the book mentions her private life. As such, it refers to what she experienced on both the physical and emotional levels during her pregnancy.
