President Donald Trump has reportedly decided to pull the USA out of the Paris agreement on climate change. This would be a major blow because the USA is the world’s second biggest source of greenhouse gases. According to the news website, Axios, Details on how the withdrawal will be executed are being worked out by a small team including EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. A letter from 22 Republican senators urging Mr. Trump to withdraw played a major role in the decision.
The news is also reported by Independent.
If the news is correct then America will join Syria and Nicaragua as the only countries who do not support the deal.
