It is the 45th edition of the festival that plans to screen 50 films during its first five days. And will be opting for digital screenings in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing a long post Priyanka wrote ‘During my career, TIFF has been a second home for me, with many films, both as an actor and producer who made their world debut at the festival.’ Adding further she said that she feels proud to serve as the ambassador. And looking forward to a great relationship.
Along with Priyanka Chopra, director and actor Anurag Kashyap is also a star who has been invited as an ambassador at the festival. Apart from these, many foreign cine personalities have been invited to the festival. The list includes Martin Scorsese, Ava DuVernay, Taika Waititi, and Alfonso Cuaron, Rian Johnson, Denis Villeneuve, etc.
