Soon after Priyanka Chopra’s book Unfinished: The Memoir was released, it took loads of attention every from India to the International level. And the reason for it is that in the book she had opened up about quite a lot of things about her personal and professional life.
From disclosing the controversial topics to many things that really affected her, she mentioned it all. Infact the book also revealed an incident when her father fell ill and how Hrithik Roshan have him a helping hand. It states that Hrithik Roshan was the one to take out the connection to book the flight with Air India, and helped them to reach London. Priyanka’s father was diagnosed with cancer, and Hrithik tried to make every possible effort that was in his capacity.
Let us tell you that at the launch of the Book Unfinished, she shared a live reading and dedicated the book to her dad saying Dear Papa, much like the title of this book, your story was unfinished. With that in mind, I dedicate the rest of mine to you. I miss you, dad.”
For those unaware, the global icon Priyanka was quite attached to her dad, and therefore, soon after his death in 2013, she was absolutely heartbroken. That’s what the book also mentions. She at the same also endured Hrithik and his Dad Rakesh Roshan and an excerpt from the book reads If we hadn’t had people around us who were so kind and so willing to act on our behalf – Hrithik and his father, Rakesh Sir, our family in Boston – I doubt that my father would have made it.
