The reason behind the threat
Actually The actress Meera Chopra recently held a question-and-answer session for her Twitter fans, and in the meantime, a fan asked her a question about Junior NTR, and responding to the user she said “She does not know Jr NTR. She is not a fan of him. On this some of the fans got angry and the matter extended which resulted in cyberbullying.
After this incident happened Meera fought back the trolls and tagged the Hyderabad Police and the Women’s Commission in abusive tweets, on which the Women’s Commission has made a report by filing a case with the Telangana Police. In the reply given to Meera, the Twitter handle of NCW was told that the Women’s Commission has submitted the case to the Telangana Police and its report has been lodged in the cyber cell. Chairman Rekha Sharma has asked DIG B Sumati of the Women’s Security Wing to send the full report to the Commission. On this, Meera, thanking the Women’s Commission and Rekha Sharma, wrote: “A big thanks helping me file an FIR” safety of women is always compromised but we will get ou strength and support from people like you.
Not only this but she has also requested Twitter to look into the matter and suspend the accounts of the accused. The actress has also send the screenshot of this.
