Sonakshi Sinha says she has given her career’s toughest scene in her upcoming film Khandaani Shafakhana. According to her, this was the scene in which she had to promote a sex clinic in the market. Sonakshi, 32, says, “It was the hardest sequence of my career. I go out for the promotion on a rickshaw having big banners consisting of sex slogans pasted behind. I have to talk about every kind of sex-related problem. Before the sequence, I was feeling embarrassed.”
Sonakshi goes on to say, “Shilpi Dasgupta gave me the confidence to do the scenes, that is what film is all about, first of all, we have to get rid of this hesitation, even if we have to talk about sex in between thousand peopl.” In the film, Sonakshi is in the role of a young girl named Babita Bedi aka Baby, who after her uncle’s death takeover his sex clinic.
The actress revealed that she decided to do the film on such a topic because it’s a relevant and important subject. Sonakshi further added that she doesn’t want people to shy away from talking about sex and she hopes that the movie will bring a change in people’s way of thinking.
The film is scheduled to release on August 2, 2019. ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’, also stars rapper Badshah, actor Varun Sharma, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Annu Kapoor and Paresh Pahuja in pivotal roles.
