Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini has unfurled the trailer of GG Gandhada Gudi, the last film starring the deceased actor. The actor’s wife took to Twitter quoting the film’s teaser to be very close to his heart. She also affirmed mentioning in a tweet to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the actor would have loved to share the teaser with him. She is also produced the film which has been directed and crafted by Amoghavarsha.
Ashwini tweeted, “Namaste @narendramodi. Today is an emotional day for us as we are releasing the trailer of #GandhadaGudi, a project close to Appu’s heart. Appu always cherished the interactions with you and would have loved to share with you in person.”
She went on to mention that, “Appu is not in our midst, but his life and work motivates and gives us the strength to embrace the culture of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. #GGMovie celebrates cinema and also holds a mirror to the rich heritage, culture, nature, and diversity of our land.”

On 29 October, the late actor Rajkumar, reportedly succumbed to cardiac arrest at 46. On the auspicious Karnataka’s formation day at the Kannada Rajyotsava, he will be posthumously conferred the coveted Karnataka Ratna award on November 1.
