The Presiden of Russia Vladimir Putin has recently announced the extension of the nonworking period in the nation due to coronavirus. According to the reports of Aljazeera, the extension is now till April 30.
He addressed the public on Thursday on state television about this. Putin said the health officials needed more time to take control over the spread.
Last week, Putin announced a week-long work-free period to help slow the spread of the coronavirus in Russia. But after 771 new infections taking the total to 3,548 and 30 deaths, he again extended the non-working period.

Most cases of COVID-19 are in Moscow which has more than 12 million inhabitants. With a strict lockdown, the government is allowing people to go out only for medical emergencies, walk pets and, essential shopping.
