R Madhavan reacted to a news report after the owner Kanta Prasad made an allegation on Gaurav Wasan for misappropriation of funds.
Baba Ka Dhaba shot to fame after YouTuber Gaurav Wasan shared a video of the elderly owner and his wife in October. After the video went viral within no time Bollywood celebrities sharted sharing it on social media and also urged the residents of Delhi to pay a visit to their food stall. But recently a piece of news surfaced in which Kanta Prasad filed a complaint against Instagram influencer and YouTuber Gaurav Wasan for misappropriation of funds.
A YouTuber Lakshya Chaudhary accused Wasan of seeking donations to help the elderly couple but not transferring the money to Kanta Prasad, the owner of Baba Ka Dhaba. However, Gaurav has dismissed all allegations that have been made against him. And also revealed his bank statements on Facebook. Wasan giving a statement said “All allegations that have been made against me are false. On October 9, I had assured Baba that his money was safe with me, and I have proof of the same. I’m in the process of arranging bank statements to prove the same.”
After the news broke Actor R Madhavan on Monday took to his Twitter account and said that this is the kind of thing that gives people “a reason not to do good.” Taking to his Twitter account he wrote “Elderly owner of Baba ka Dhaba duped in Delhi? Now, this is the kind of thing that gives ppl a reason not to do good. Unacceptable. Now if this fraud couple is caught and punished ..FAITH will be restored .. @DelhiPolice full faith in you.”

After Baba Ka Dhaba Malviya Nagar’s roadside eatery in Delhi became famous many people including celebs paid a visit to the eatery. Infact they also got support after they underwent free cataract surgery at a Delhi hospital around a week ago. Their another cataract surgery will take place on Tuesday which will be at Sharp Sight Eye hospital for free.
