Sanjjana Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi will reportedly be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Bengaluru’s central prison.
After the drug nexus in the showbiz industry got exposed, many names of the actresses are now flaring up. And now Kannada actresses Sanjjana Galrani, Ragini Dwivedi who has been known to have some connections with drug nexus. Will be questioned by ED. As per the reports of India Today, the special court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has granted permission to ED to interrogate the accused who is in the Bengaluru Central Prison for five days.
Along with actress Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani, other names have also been exposed in the Sandalwood drug case. Enforcement Directorate will now record written statements of five arrested people such as Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjjanaa Galrani, Virender Khanna, Rahul Thonse, and Ravishankar.
Giving the statement regarding the questioning The ED stated, “For the purpose of the investigation, it is necessary to record the statements of the respondents. Their written statements are very much essential for the money-laundering investigation which is admissible evidence before the court.” Meanwhile, Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch, which is probing the alleged drug racket in Sandalwood, and had summoned actor Diganth Manchale for questioning on Thursday. Although the actor has denied reports. But the CCB has doubts on him that he is having connections with the drug peddlers from African countries.
Since the actor Diganth Manchale is now under the radar of CCB, It has been told that the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil has asked the actor not to leave town but if he does he would have to inform the CCB.
