On Tuesday, Ram Charan and Upasana Kondidela welcomed a daughter into the world. The couple then stood outside the hospital on their way home on Friday, making their first public appearance with their child. Upasana recently shared a photo of herself holding her child on Instagram and thanked her followers for their support and good fortune. In the adorable photo, she was joined by Ram Charan.
Upasana captioned the picture: “Overwhelmed by the warm welcome for our little one. Thank you for all the love and blessings (red heart and baby face emoticons) @alwaysramcharan @alwaysrhyme”
Priyanka Chopra reacted and said, “Congratulations.” Actor Rakul Preet wrote, “Upsiiiiii congratulations (red heart emoticons) may she be blessed with all the joy , happiness and abundance in the world” Fans too expressed their best wishes. Someone wrote, “Congratulations to both of you ..the most most awaited moment and welcome home to the little angel.” Another added, “Congratulations and may god bless you all.”
Ram thanked his supporters for their well wishes when he spoke to the media on Friday while they were gathered outside the hospital. He also expressed his gratitude for the hospital’s medical staff. “We are so lucky. Upasana and the baby, there are no complications. They are doing very, very well,” he added.
Chiranjeevi had already paid a visit to his granddaughter in the hospital. On June 20, Chiranjeevi stated to the media in Hyderabad, “Today at 1.49 AM, Ram Charan and Upasana gave birth to a baby girl. Our family is extremely happy. We have been seeking for many years now that they should become parents and put a baby in our hands. By the grace of god and the blessings of all, it has come true. We consider it very special that the baby is born on Tuesday, which is auspicious day for praying to Lord Anjaneya (Hanuman).”
In December, Ram, 38, and Upasana, 33, made the pregnancy public. After several years of dating, the couple were married in 2012. In December 2022, they made the pregnancy announcement.
