Ranveer Singh has his sights set on the dynamic and lucrative South Indian film business. As per a recent article by Pinkvilla, the actor is keen to work with prominent South Indian directors on new projects and has taken the initiative to start conversations with them.

Atlee, the director of the Shah Rukh Khan film Jawan, is at the top of Ranveer’s wish list. It has been stated that the two have chatted over the phone multiple times, and Atlee is presently writing the screenplay for his upcoming movie. Ranveer still has a chance to win the lead part, even if Allu Arjun is still the favorite.

Ranveer has also conversed with Nelson (Jailer) and shown interest in an action movie with AR Murugadoss as the narrator (Ghajini, Holiday). Singh’s aspirations to transcend genres are further evidenced by his forthcoming encounter with HanuMan director Prasanth Varma.
